This month over 500 copies of the Sirens’ Song Lenormand swam across wide bodies of salty water to reach their new homes. The first 500 decks came wrapped in special silver bags that included a lucky sea charm and bonus reading scarf. These early bird orders quickly sold out after many of you enthusiastically shared images of your decks on social media.
It was thrilling to witness such a positive response and I want to thank you from the bottom of my self-published, deck-designing heart for taking the time to share your excitement.
I know many of you missed your chance at receiving the bonus scarf and this is why I want to offer another opportunity for you to have one.
While researching images for the Sirens’ Song I came across a beautiful video featuring, of all things, the mating ritual of the seahorse. After seeing their mesmerizing dance I added not one, but four seahorses to two cards in the deck. One seahorse is pretty prominent and easy to spot, however the remaining three are more of a challenge to locate. Do you know which of the two cards feature seahorses? If so, it could qualify you for one of the Sirens’ Song reading scarves (and more). Interested? Read on!
I’m offering a Sirens’ Song reading scarf to four people who successfully name and post an image of the two Sirens’ Song cards that feature seahorses. If you’re game, please choose Facebook or Instagram (or both!) to post a photo of your findings before October 17th and tag, Carrie Paris so I’ll know who to send the scarves to. But wait, there’s more!
In addition, the four lucky winners will also receive the latest in the Magpie Oracle collection; the Seer Charms kit, which come with a black and white casting bandana. Both Seer Charms and bandana were created for the online class, Mediumship and Casting that I’m co-teaching this November with Andrew McGregor. The aim of the kit is to help diviners navigate and communicate with the Otherside. I also wanted to create a useful tool for divining during these cooler Autumn months.
The bandana borrows elements from Victorian talking boards while the charms act as an option to the planchette found in Ouija boards. In other words, where your charms land opens dialogue and points the way to conversing with the Otherside. The Seer Charms kit will be available to the public in November.
Here’s your chance to not only win one of the few remaining Sirens’ Song casting scarves, but also the latest in the Magpie Oracle line; the Seer Charms and their casting bandana. Good luck, everyone and enjoy the dance!
